This was the first website I coded in HTML and CSS from scratch. I wanted to produce a very retro-feel and utilize realia to make the website feel very early web 2.0 as a way to amplify the nostalgia aspect of the content of the site. I also included music which played when each webpage was opened. 

The site is based on the popular movement of nostalgia for the former German Democratic Republic among East Germans and East German expats. Certain foodstuffs, cultural elements and so on are fondly missed and many businesses cater to them.
